COP 119: Provision of Labour (Security)

What it is. Code of Practice 119 is the recognised standard for supplying staff to the security sector. It sets clear, auditable expectations for ethical, compliant and transparent staffing, covering licence checks, right-to-work verification, vetting, fair treatment of staff and honest record keeping. Our certificate is independently audited and awarded by the British Assessment Bureau (BAB), a UKAS accredited certification body.

What it is. CHAS (the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) is one of the UK's founding health & safety assessment schemes and a member of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement). It independently reviews our health & safety management systems against recognised core criteria aligned with the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.

As a security business we handle personal data every day, from staff vetting records to incident reports and client details. Our ICO registration confirms we're accountable under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 for handling it lawfully.

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is the UK government regulator for the private security industry, and its Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) is the industry's voluntary hallmark of quality. Global Security 24/7 Ltd has applied to the ACS for Security Guarding, and our application is now at the final stage of assessment.
